Where Harmony is Everything

We like to think of it as inspiration. The profound reassessment that people made over the past two or three years of what home means to them might have been prompted by stay-at-home pandemic precautions, and yet the answers people are finding go a long way beyond mere problem solving. As we see it, people may have felt dissatisfied at first, but where they ended up was inspired. And that, fortunately, is our line of work.

As the builder of some of the most remarkable Atlanta homes for sale, we discovered that many of our design and building solutions have a lot to do with harmony. This is not to say that everything must look smooth or feel creamy – sometimes dynamic tension gives strength to design as it does to structure. Rather, it is harmony of purpose, of intention, that results in homes that we are proud to build, and our clients are proud to own.

The Power of Intention

Designs that anticipate and respond to your needs are the most intelligent and, in the end, the most impressive. When the big idea for the design is carefully carried out in detail, what we notice is how much the designer understood what you would want to do there, and what would be helpful in doing it.

A lasting effect of designs in which a big idea is fulfilled consistently, as we experience more of the details, is that we feel a sense of belonging, and the feeling is mutual. There is not only a sense that we belong there, but also that the space belongs in a way to us. As a home builder, understanding this is a key to fulfilling the goals of the developers and the desires of the homeowners we serve.

An intuitive harmony arises when we consider your intentions with care. Executing these designs as an Atlanta home builder faithfully and fulfilling their entire potential calls for a degree of understanding that goes way beyond the blueprint. We can bring into being a spaces, surfaces, and objects, as well as viewpoints, access, and atmospheres, all which might be hard to put into words.

Far More than Looks Alone

Luxury is no longer a matter of show; it’s a matter of how you feel. The old luxury depended on luscious and sometimes even flashy materials, on details that call attention to themselves for decorative purposes. The new luxury is about how you feel in the environment of a design. This we found supportive of our instinct all along, that places have meaning, and that the ideas, materials, and choices that go into them should be consistent with that meaning.

Going to that level of understanding in the homes we build – this is our passion and our life’s work. Let’s get together and talk it over. Just call us at 404-459-6080 or find out more at montehewett.com.
